The Benefits of Mineral Sunscreen (Titanium dioxide/Zinc oxide)

1.Physical barrier blocks UVA/UVB rays

2.Dermatology recommended. Use at least SPF 30 (blocks 97% of UVB rays that can lead to a sunburn). SPF 50 blocks 98%, SPF 100 blocks 99%.  Reapply every 2 hours.

3.All Natural: Hypoallergenic, No Benzene

4.Better for the environment. Reef safe

5.With newer technology, many can spread on evenly without leaving a white coat.

**Wear an SPF hat, UV400 sunglasses, and consider SPF clothing. Don’t forget your furry friends. They have cooling vests, rash guards and YES mineral sunscreens designed specifically for pets. Avoid zinc oxide on

Fortunately, there are many natural mineral sunscreens. Check out EWG.org & YUKA app for good companies. Some brands I use are Badger, Blue Lizard.
