  Have you heard of Cannabis Patches?   They’re a simple delivery mechanism that can deliver cannabis to the whole body. It’s helped many of my patients sleep better, manage their anxiety, and improve pain. I’m speaking about this today as many of my new patients have never heard about it. I love the cannabis patches because they’re easy to use just like a nicotine patch. You simply apply a sticker to a recommended site on the body. It takes about 30 to 90 minutes to take effect and can last up to 8 to 12 hours. Simply remove it if you don’t need it as long, or if you have a problem. What other method allows you to do that? If you need it to be stronger, you can use more than one patch at the same time. For those not fond of vaping or smoking, or have gut issues, this is a nice option.     Air Fresheners: Are they SA FE?  Did you know the scent within many perfumes and colognes along with household cleaning products and plug-ins (e.g. Febreze, Lysol, Clorox Bleach, Dawn, Tide, Irish Spring, Fabuloso)   have artificial fragrances or perfumes (also spelled parfumes) in their ingredients which contain many harmful chemicals. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG.org), many of the chemicals in these synthetic fragrances contain phthalates, which can: disrupt hormones; worsen asthma and   allergies; lead to headaches, fatigue, or weight gain (as these chemicals get stored in the fat); weaken the immune system; and even possibly cause cancer. Cortisol Saliva Test Kit Instructions

 Salivary Cortisol test kit (you get from the lab): It's a saliva test. No need to fast. Once you complete the test return the tubes to the lab as directed. Times to collect: 1st tube: 8am-10am Saliva collection should be done at the earliest 60 minutes after brushing teeth, a meal (liquid/solid food intake) or oral intake of medication and 10 minutes after rinsing the mouth with water in order to avoid contamination of the saliva by interfering substances. 2nd tube: 12pm-2pm.
