How to Calm Anxiety

Life can seem to come at you at whirlwind speeds with so many things on your plate and seemingly very little time to get it all done. You may even wonder where did the day go?

Remember, distraction is the enemy to getting results!

Instead give yourself permission to take a time out. In a relaxed state, you use less energy and are better able to FOCUS. I find after this practice of deep relaxation (especially first thing in the morning); I can finish important tasks more efficiently and feel happier for the rest of the day. And if something doesn’t go right, I can handle it better.

The way this simple exercise works is through slow deep breathing, which calms the nervous system and activates the alpha brain waves. This can lead to profound calmness and a wonderful sense of mental wellbeing.

But don’t take my word for it, try it out. Remember the longer and more consistent you are with this practice, the better the results. This can also help improve your Blackbelt focus.

I’m excited because Grandmaster Steve will be covering the importance of Focus for success as a keynote speaker at the holistic health summit. He’s an exemplary example as a 7th degree blackbelt and he served our country as a Captain in the army and as you can see now runs a highly successful dojo. Click here for summit details. Lunch, prizes and raffles, included. Proceeds go to charity. Promo code for limited time only: GOLD50 for 50% off.

Learn how to STEP UP you and your family’s health for the new year. Learn the latest developments in antiaging medicine, how to keep your family safe, healthy, and strong long term.

We have an amazing lineup of speakers, experts in their field in addition to Grandmaster Steve, including Dr. Berger (nationally renowned wholistic pediatrician) to discuss the benefits of cannabis including for natural pain relief, for sleep and for ADHD.

Dr. Rhee will explain how to improve athletic performance as we age, while reducing injury. Dr. Demers to discuss natural immune boosters and my husband Drew (faculty professor at St. Leo University) will speak about managing anxiety thru his effective 7 C’s approach. I will share cutting edge treatments to manage burnout and stress. Shihan Carolyn will be emceeing the event. She runs the Krav mamas (an empowering women’s group). Look forward to seeing you there and if you would like to volunteer for the event please email Drew at Summit@dgoli.com

Happy New Year!
